  1. Optical manager vertical introduced:
  2. The one stop solution that will suit any optical business from any part of the world. Optical manager can automate the business operations in an optical store with its interesting feature. There are more in-store for optical manufacturers as they can make lens combination inactive and send back to correct them to the current market need & make more business!

    How to?

    We have introduced 3 new attributes in the Item master 'Preparation status' colunm namely Lens, Frame & Own Frame. Here if you select any item with 'Frame' then application will ask the user to select the Left & Right lens based on the selected customer eye readings, without that application will not allow the user to save the bill. We recommended to create Frame item as a Standard product type Lens item to Matrix product type to apply the above validations. Below are all some of the other special features available in this vertical.

    1. Customer selection is mandatory to do billing. You can do without customer also but only Own lens alone can be sold.

    2. Customer eye readings will be listed by default from the masters. Also from the billing screen customer can able to change/create new readings.

    3. If suppose wanted to customize the reading details(ie) wanted to hide some of the reading values you can just double click the eye readings in the billing screen.

    4. You can't sell only frame or only lens. You can able to sell one Frame with 2 lens only.(ie) One set of Spectacle only you can able to sell.

    5. Billing screen can't able to delete any one item, if suppose you delete any one lens/frame entire spectacle will be cleared by default.

    6. Sales order also supports the same flow.

    7. Advance is mandatory for this business, so given provision in application to get minimum advance amount based on the Order value. User can able to feed the Advance % in configuration.

    8. While raising Sales order itself user can able to specify the mode of delivery like Courier, Register post & etc.

    9. Department Vs Category screen given provision to specify the Spherical, Cylindrical & Add in a special column namely 'Eye Power'.

    10.Matrix type of items(ie Lens) users can able to make it Active/InActive any of the combinations. If you make any one combination as InActive then that combination will not show any screens in products.

    Limitations :

    1. This vertical will not support Starter & Standard editions.

    2. Offer management will not support as of now.

  3. Sales return with SellSmart :
  4. Now users can able to do Sales return in SellSmart app itself. Which ever user has 'Sales return' rights for them alone this menu will be visible in app. Also below are the mandatory/limitations for doing Sales return in SellSmart.

    1. Customer selection is mandatory to return in sellSmart.

    2. It will work only in online mode. Does not support in offline mode.

    3. It will support only for Standard product type items as of now.

    4. It will support for VAT/UAE/GST tax.

    5. It will support for 'Last N days sales invoice for sale return' option.

    6. Sales return number will generate in continuously. (ie)it will not generate counter wise.

    7. It will support only Cash and Credit tender type. Users can't able to make split tender type.

    8. Sales return menu will be visible by default in both SellSmart and SellQuick app irrespective of user/role righrs.

  5. Purchase invoice is made with the 'Invoice import' option then wanted some restrictions like wanted to remove the rate edit feature's use the below configuration.
  6. Config : Tools >> Configuration >> Configuration >> Purchase Settings >> Do not allow the user to edit the purchase while importing through invoice import option(Applicable for pharma).

  7. Purchase/Expiry return adjustments are not able to do more than one Purchase so far. Now this limitations is removed and the user can able to adjusted both Purchase/Expiry returns in more than one Purchase if the customer is doing it in RPOS7 alone. If suppose partially adjusted in TRAC then that is not possible to adjust in RPOS7.
  8. Feature added to do Expiry return only Based on the 'MRP' value and also not allow to edit the 'MRP' rate. This feature is done based on the below configuration.
  9. Config : Tools >> Configuration >> Purchase >> Expiry Return >> Show only MRP in expiry return filter for return based on.

  10. Item Transaction History screen, 'Purchase Price' column is added.
  11. Purchase Return Detail - Categorywise (Billwise Adj) - 3424 >> New report to analyze which are all returns are adjusted fully/partially in Purchase under the path Reports >> Purchase >> Returns >> Purchase Return Detail - Categorywise (Billwise Adj) - 3424.
  12. Expiry Return Detail - Categorywise (Billwise Adj) - 3425 >> New report to analyze which are all expiry returns are adjusted fully/partially in Purchase under the path Reports >> Purchase >> Returns >> Expiry Return Detail - Categorywise (Billwise Adj) - 3425.
  13. Category - Item - MFR Wise Margin Detail - 3013 report Sales man column added.
  14. Sales and SR Register Tenderwise - 3001 report Mobile number, Phone-2 and Telephone fieds are added.
  15. As a goodwill gesture to identify the margin details of the products we have given 'Category wise Margin Detail - 3014' in Standard edition itself.

Improvements

  1. 'Sales Return Without Tax' configuration is enabled then tax amount is calculating zero, but in accounts it was posted tax based on item maser mapped GST%.
  2. 'Show batch lov for the single row item' configuration is enabled then showing batch details while loading items by using 'Load MR/TI' function key. Actually in this function key batch details are not required, just load the Transaction batch as is without asing any batch details from the user.
  3. Pharma Alerts when many rows are loaded and when we try to save the alert for the rows at the bottom then it throws overflow error.
  4. In the case of Sale return amount is zero and having the round off value then discounted Loyalty point is not calculated properly.
  5. 'Show Meter/Units' option is enabled and Item free offer is created like 'Buy 3 Get 1 free' for meter not enabled items then offer free quantity is assigned in meter column. Due to that in bill edit/view mode showing empty value in meter column and quantity column value 1 but the item amount is showing for 2 quantity.
  6. Discount% is given in Distributor master was not getting loaded in Purchase if that Purchase is made from 'Excel import' option.
  7. 'Search Matrix' function key is used to load the matrix items, then those matrix items Tax % was not loaded automatically.
  8. 'Show bulk item batch details while making repack' configuration enabled scenario, batch details not showing if Bulk item is having single batch.
  9. When the user trying to print Barcode there is an error like 'string or binary could not be truncated' if the name of the conversion type is mapped for the item and its length has more than 10 digits.
  10. The below reports in certain dates the adjusted 'Status' column shows the incorrect status.

  12. Security manager the menus related to 'Service module' could not be differentiated from the normal menus.
  13. Jobcard creation when the customer uses the 'Manual job creation' configuration then the print for job card is not working.
  14. Matrix extension shows there is no response when we click on the Image path instead of showing the Browse window.
  15. Auto Service pack upload was failed(Zip not found message) due to that unable to apply Auto Service pack in client machines.
  16. In certain cases while applying Service pack it throws an error message related to license.
  17. After replacing the SQL template database in certain cases like 'Master' databases corrupted case, application throws some error messages continously.

Pre-requisites for installing RPOS7 RC119 Service Pack.

To reduce download size of the Service Pack, older version scripts are removed from the service pack.
Therefore, users of RPOS7 RC94.7 and older version must upgrade to RPOS7 RC94.8 inorder to update RPOS7 RC119 service pack.
